I painted this one for Dan. Dan has worked with The Spousal Unit for umpteen years (they’re architects), and I had the pleasure of working with him for a couple of years when I first moved to New York. Dan’s retiring this week, which is one of those things that’s a little sad while being happy. Here’s to many, many years of “retirement,” Dan! Let me know when you’ve got that first book written.
