Here is another utterly simple acrylic painting, this one measures 6″ x 6″ on gallery-wrapped canvas. I used Lumiere paints, so here’s a hint of luminosity.
Again, there’s just something about minimalism and squares that I find ever so pleasing.
Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Take a moment to remember the men and women who lost their lives in Hawai’i that day.
The texture is great in the big version. It looks like an extreme close up of plaid.
Texture is the most excellent thing about acrylics. I get some funky effects when I fingerpaint with acrylics.
