After yesterday’s creepiness, I thought something bright and cheerful would be good for today.
This one looks like I dabbed paint down with a sponge, which is something I occasionally do with watercolors or acrylics, but it doesn’t work very well with encaustics. When painting encaustics, it’s important to keep the iron clean, so I use a lot of paper towels, and those paper towels collect a lot of excess wax in a whole lot of colors. One day I wondered what would happen if I ironed the used paper towels over some clean cardstock.
Riotous is the result!
IT’S CANDYLAND!
