Sometimes I just can’t think of a good name for a painting. When I get into the zone, I can paint a few dozen pieces over the course of a weekend. Then I’m faced with a stack of paintings… and a complete emptiness of mind when it comes to naming them. I’ve got 28 Squared Abstracts (3.5″ x 3.5″) and 72 Small Abstracts (2.5″ x 3.5″).
This one is the ninth from the Large Abstracts collection. They all measure 9″ x 12″.
I’m in the process of relisting this series on Etsy… at least those that haven’t already been sold. This one is available, and would make an excellent holiday gift, don’t you think?
It’s hypnotic!
Are you trying to put a spell on me?
Yes, I am! Is it working? LOL
It’s so spiralllyy.
Is That a watercolor? I like the way the green strengthens and weakens throughout the image.
Nice work. But Personally, I don’t who I would buy it for. Sorry.
Beamer
Yes, watercolor! Pretty cool, huh? And I’m really trying to get Monique to buy all my stuff. She’s such a big fan!
But maybe someday, something will strike your fancy and you’ll be in a position to have it all for yourself.
Hey Kelly…
This is one of my favs so far. I don’t know why I’m drawn to it. It’s calm and centered. If it was a work of mine (it would suck) I’d name it “Ohio Labyrinth”.
I could just see this is as a simple, playful, labyrinth somewhere in the Midwest.
Laters
Definitely something with “labyrinth” would be good. If I was going to go with a state, though, I’d have to pick something like Kansas or Iowa… only because I’ve spent WAY more time in either of those states than Ohio and could actually imagine labyrinths hiding in all those corn and wheat fields. Or heck, even in the soy bean fields of Illinois.
Well, since I see everything in terms of ice cream, I designate this: Lime Swirl. But I like the labyrinth idea, too. Very pretty. Swirly and cool and relaxing.
I Do Things’s last blog post… I Research Kittens so you don’t have to
Oooooh, I can see the ice cream connection, too. Well, maybe more sherbet-like, but still… yummy!
