I grew up in Chicago, and one of the best things about summer were the free concerts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra gave at the band shell in Grant Park. And if I had to pick the “best of the best,” it would definitely be their rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture that they performed every 4th of July.
This fractal reminds of the great curves of the band shell and the fireworks the city always provided for the 4th of July. I guess you could count those as another set of things I actually miss about Chicago.
Love it…
