This is the last of the tempera paintings I’ve done (so far). I’m pretty sure I’d been listening to R. Carlos Nakai when the titles to this series came to me.
This painting, more than most I’ve done lately, has a strong emotional component. When I look at it, there really isn’t anything for my intellect to identify… but my subconscious recognizes something powerful, yet ineffable.
If I meditated, I’d probably think this would make a good focal point.
This seems really restful, like looking up into a starry sky or into the depths of a calm sea.
I LOVE this one Kelly. What size is it? I want it!!
@fragileheart It’s 12″ x 9″. 🙂
Hm… where to put it… hehehehe do you think you would want to sell it? Do you think you’d mind holding it till I get paid enough (probably not till next month 🙁 because I need to pay the credit card people)???
