Happy 4th of July!

Today is also known as Independence Day, but that always makes me think of the movie of the same name.  Will Smith!  Jeff Goldblum!  Brent Spiner!  Aliens!  (One of my favorite movies… could you tell?)

Ribbons is a 2″ x 3″ encaustic painting, in a 5″ x 7″ white mat and silver frame.  Think of it as doodling with hot wax and a craft iron.  (Yessss… ouch!)

(Notice how I slipped doodling in there?  That’s so you don’t forget about Doodle Week.  Don’t worry…  I’ll remind you again.  LOL)
