I think I have found a new addiction. I picked up a little felting kit a couple of weeks ago and started playing with it last night. Ut oh. The pattern from the kit is cute, but not my style… however, I’ve already had some ideas for creating my own felted pieces of artwork.
I will now have to find more hours in the week… or win the lottery so I can quit my day job. Oh dear, It’s just not easy being me.
I’m off to take out some frustrations on a poor defenseless piece of felt. 🙂
Lol This is me too! I want to try everything! Very nice blog! I will check out your shop on Etsy. I am there as well. Have a good day! God Bless

Leave it to an artsy person to find a passion with felt! I would be completely hopeless with an felt kit. But then, I just read about a woman who makes art out of bottlecaps. My felt hat is off to all of you that have such skills!

Good luck fighting this obsession off. I run across so many people that the needle felting thing happens to and they JUST CAN’T STOP. When you run out of fibers, or just need more colors (phase 2 of spiral out of control), check out my shop at etsy.

@Janet… thanks for dropping by! I checked out your Etsy shop… those angel mermaids are great!
@Kent… Oh! Oh! I read about that woman with her bottle caps, too! I have some local friends who create art from bottle caps, too… but on a considerably smaller scale.
@Carol… there’s a word for people like you: pushers. LOL I’ve added your shop to my favorites!
