I haven’t upgraded to 2.5 yet because I can’t get verification from anybody that my theme will still work. I love this theme, and I don’t want to switch to another one. Oh, and being in the IT world, I’ve learned that you don’t want to be the first one jumping on the New Stuff wagon.
But that’s not the reason for this post. Every time I log into my dashboard, there’s that note from the nice WordPress people encouraging me to upgrade. Today, I read about all the fantastic new features of WordPress much more carefully than I had in the past. I may have to upgrade immediately.
They have salted passwords. Who could pass that up? I’m sure most people would prefer the sugared ones, but me… I’m all for the salt! Bring it on! I have low blood pressure, I can handle it!
Not sure what a salted password is, but it sounded funny just the same.
Thank you for the hugs and the prayers for my family in this time of loss that we are facing. God bless you.

lol! I know what a salted password is, but it’s not the kind of thing most people would know about … and they don’t need to!

@Anna… You’re welcome. Hopefully, you got a little smile from salted passwords.
@Ben… And you’re officially a geek because you know! The whole world of encryption is something that’s fascinating, and makes my brain explode at the same time.
I think upgrading is overrated!
Your theme should be fine and if you don’t think so make a fake copy of this site and upgrade it to see what happens.
Your template or theme should be fine!

@blogengage… if I had the time to play with creating a test site, I’d do that for sure! Maybe after my term paper is finished and the last test has been taken and after I sleep for a week! LOL
