I love Irises, my Grandmother used to grow them. I didn’t get her green thumb though! Happy WW!
Love the deep purple in this iris – just beautiful!

Hi all!
I have a black thumb. The woman who owned the house before us planted all kinds of things that just appear magically every spring. Hooray, I say! I took that picture last spring. Sometimes, I get amazed that I can actually take a good picture.
I like irises, too, but the lilacs are my favorite. Maybe I’ll get a good shot of them when they bloom in a few more weeks.
Beautiful creation of the irise!
Thanks, Klaire!
I’m glad I read the comments before writing: “What a beautiful orchid!” Maybe I should stay away from Wordless Wednesdays!

LOL! JD, you crack me up! To be honest, I’m not good at identifying flowers either. They’re either “pretty” or they’re “meh.” Oh, except for carnations. Carnations are the BEST!
