This piece is on display (and for sale) at the Art World Project, the brainchild of Stephanie Eibl and Johannes Hornig of Graz, Austria. They are creating a virtual montage of artwork that will be printed as an exclusive single edition on canvas. Their goal is to build a community of artists who, in turn, are donating their talents and a percentage of profits to benefit three world children’s aid organizations.
The three organizations they are supporting:
- Little Smile Association (NGO) – Sri Lanka
- Menschen für Menschen – Austria
- Amade-Mondiale (NGO) – Monaco
Visit their site. Wander through all the art already submitted. If you are an artist, consider submitting some of your art. This is a project where hundreds of thousands of strangers will come together and create a thing of beauty and wonder. In the process, we will be helping children live better lives.
This is a good thing.
