The thing I like to do most with acrylics is to squeeze them out on the canvas and then smear them around. Sometimes I’ll add a little more color right from the tube, or mix up a glaze to put over the first layer.
This one has some interesting textures where the colors have blended together, almost like the bark of trees, but in strange colors. It’s so interesting to use different brands and viscosities. They don’t always play well together, and that makes it all the more interesting for me.
