My latest venue for displaying art is Spill’n the Beans Coffeehouse and Bistro, located at 13 3rd Street in Troy, NY. Not only is Nick a fabulous person for allowing me to display several paintings in his restaurant, but he serves up some mighty fine food. I don’t drink coffee, but if it’s anywhere near as good as the food, it’s excellent.
(On a strange little side note, I often wonder why my nose likes the smell of coffee so much while my taste buds think it’s some of the most horrible stuff around. And yes, I’ve tried good coffee and even uber-premo coffee. Flavored coffee? Yep, that too. It all comes down to the fact that it still all has that coffee flavor. Oh well. I DO like tea.)
