This is a 4″ x 6″ watercolor painting on watercolor paper; the kanji is done with a black Sharpie.
When I look at it, sometimes I think it could represent the sun… sometimes I just think of fire. Although the yellow and orange range of colors aren’t necessarily my favorites, I do seem to have quite a few pieces that I consider “fire” pieces. Is this because I’m one of the fire signs (Aries)? Is it a purging of the anger I’ve held on to for so long? Or is it simply that, although I refuse to wear yellow or orange, I do like to look at these colors?
